Multicultural Festival

March 22, 2017

Lee Elementary is proud of its diverse student population. To celebrate our diversity, we have planned events to highlight several of our school cultures. On Friday, March 24, 2017, students will have an opportunity to participate in a Parade of Nations. During this activity, students and teachers will be able to dress in attire that represents their culture and walk in a parade around the school at the end of the day. Please note this is a student and teacher only event. Students will be able to change into their attire before the parade.

On Saturday, March 25, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Lee Elementary, all are invited to the Lee Multicultural Festival. Come dressed in your culture’s attire and take a gallery walk down the hallways of our school. You will enjoy learning about a few of our diversified cultures, sample tasty traditional foods, and dance to the music of culturally-specific arts and performances. The following is a small representation of the cultures that will be represented: America, Brazil, Egypt, Northern India, Colombia, Mexico, Vietnam, the Middle East, Korea, and Africa. **Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult.
